Some rough shot ideas I had for a short animation.
The first 2 shots are more props and affects animation.
The last two shots, peaking in the cave and reaction close up, are more performance animation.
The color palette is pretty close to what I had in mind, but their placement isnèt quite there yet. The designs would be a little different. It's really my first draft.

Wine?
I hadn't posted in a while, because I've been really really busy at work, Studio Pascal Blais, doing cool projects which I will eventually show. I am also trying to wrap up my first rough pass on a 70 pages comic which is an adaptation of a the novel Laurence, written by Carl Rocheleau. I'll sometime make a blog for the project. Meanwhile, check out Carl's professional pages for news on his writing.
Weird looking rich man, drinking wine.

My Work Displayed in Space Colonisation Research
This is s special post to inform all of you that my illustration Spaceman Willie: Saturn Lunch Time will be used in a live streaming event hosted by the NASA. Natasha Nicholson, a post graduate student at the University of Edinburgh, will be presenting research in the evolution of bacterias in low gravity, which could play an important role in maned missions outerspace, including the colonisation of other worlds.
